A minimum of 15 minutes is reserved between sessions so you always receive your full 60 or 90 minute massage. This allows time for us to discuss what areas need special attention that particular day and you can gently ease back into your daily routine at the end of your session.

Swedish & Deep Tissue

Swedish massage relaxes muscles through pressure applied to the muscles and joints with soothing strokes returning blood to the heart. This increases oxygen flow and releases toxins built up in the muscles. Deep tissue massage works the deeper muscles to release tension in the body, usually chronic tension. This is done with slow strokes and concentrated pressure on the tense area to remove toxins and loosen muscles. Deep tissue massage can result in soreness for a day or two following the massage.

Hot Stone Massage

Heated basalt stones are integrated into your massage allowing manipulation of a greater intensity than with traditional massage. The stones are used as an extension of our hands, not a replacement. The heat of the stones melt away tension in achy muscles while the placement stones bring you into a deeper state of relaxation.

Chair Massage

This is a great alternative for those seeking a relaxing therapeutic session without undressing or using oil. Chair massage utilizes acupressure and Swedish massage to relieve tension. Though beginning at a slower pace, the work moves a little faster as the practitioner proceeds. The session ends with quick, revitalizing strokes in order to bring the client back to a state of full consciousness.

Partner Massage Classes

This class is based on simple, easy-to-learn Swedish massage techniques and is designed to help you and your partner share nurturing, relaxing, and therapeutic benefits of massage with each other. The sequence of strokes are repeated, so you can quickly learn the pattern and focus on helping your partner relax and reduce stress. Modifications can be made based on your loved one's preference of pressure and style of touch (even if they're ticklish!). You will learn to massage the back, arms, legs, feet, hands, scalp, face and even the ears! Each private 2 1/2 hour lesson includes a minimum amount of lecture with a focus on massage techniques and communication skills so you can start practicing right away.
